金价缺乏指导方向，1300是关键点位

    Gold sold off in early trade this morning as investors looked to take some profits as summer trading provides little direction. The rally on Friday has fizzled out and like a moth to light the market dropped to the 1300.00 level.  This key support level would have had a few stops sitting around it so when we hit that the level we had some decent follow through. It looks like 1280.00 and then 1250.00 are the next support levels with a settlement tonight under the 1300.00 handle adding to confirmation of the downtrend.
This market relies heavily on fundamental direction and as we saw on Friday it is particularly affected by economic data. The fact that we have in 2 days lost all of the gain tells me, once again, it was all pure speculation and this precious metal is still in a downtrend.
